Coach Bio: Erik Casanova

Eclipse Head Coach – Email

Erik comes to the girls side of soccer after spending 16 years coaching boys and men. Erik trained and coached former and current US Men’s National Team players and numerous college players, but his main focus is now solely on the Eclipse Soccer philosophy.

He believes that under the tutelage of Abner Rogers and Neil Powell, he will be even more successful than he has been in the past. His experience coaching high school, college and semi-pro teams will be an asset to the club and the young women of the Eclipse. His soccer playing experience will also be a plus, as he has gone through all the aforementioned levels of the game.

Concentrating on the development of young girls and helping them achieve all their goals as players, citizens, and future leaders is the main focus for him as a coach. Helping them understand the game and the Eclipse philosophy of soccer is his main priority. “I believe in coaching with a positive attitude, and believing in my players. I have seen many young players develop into outstanding people, and my goal is to continue to develop those young girls into the best athletes and citizens they can be”.
