Eclipse Girls Contribute to the Jessie Rees Foundation

Back in April some of our very own Eclipse girls gave their time to help a wonderful cause and one that is very close to their hearts. Jessie Rees, a 12 year old girl who attended the same school as 3 players from the Eclipse U11 White team, was diagnosed with brain cancer last year. This brave young lady started a foundation to try and help other children with cancer and to bring joy to their lives. The foundation sends jars stuffed with toys and games to other children effected. Jessie sadly lost her fight with cancer in January however her foundation has continued to grow and ensures that her spirit lives on. Her motto was “NEGU” standing for ‘Never Ever Give Up.’ Pictured below are girls from the U11 team; Bella, Jenna, Caley, Delany, Morgan and Kalani who all spent the day helping to stuff the “Joy Jars”. We are all very proud of our girls for giving back to the community and supporting this great cause.
