The Laguna Hills Eclipse Soccer Club continued their wonderful Christmas tradition today of donating trees to Camp Pendleton Marines. For three years running now, the families of the Eclipse have donated trees to our brave soldiers and their families. Today, 65 trees and stands were delivered to soldiers who have just returned from Afghanistan and will get to spend their holidays with loved ones.
This show of kindness and caring could not have been possible without the contribution from Federal Express and the Mission Viejo mall. FedEx, and its station in Irvine, NZJA, donated the truck and driver to have the trees delivered on time. Meanwhile, the Mission Viejo Mall donated space and an amazing location for the trees to be cared for and picked up.
Many thanks also go to ATKINSON CONSTRUCTION who provided all of the traffic cones and materials for the tree lot and to all the Eclipse parents and players who volunteered their time, and to those who contributed funding for the donated trees.
